Race Day

The Run/Course

Marina View of the Bridge. The pic does it no justice.

Around Mile 3 (?) we ran by the medals. What a tease!!

The BLING!! POWW!!! Worked for this one! 3 races. HAPPY!!
Finish Stats:

The Post Race Party

I got home and realized my La Porte Medal was missing the spinner. It must have fallen off with all that clanging against the ginormous Series Medal. I emailed RAS the same day after the race and got a reply back from "Robby" within minutes asking if my address was on XXXXX street. I replied yes. Lo and behold I got another medal in the mail within a few days. RAS just keeps getting better and better. This year was my first time doing any of their races and I am utterly impressed and pleased!! I had always thought their races were too far away, but in all honesty they are worth every mile!! And now I know La Porte was not far. Pretty much same travelling I'd do to a downtown race.

My Bling & Replacement Bling! RAS Rocks!! I should donate one to the charity who gives them to sick kids!
